011. One time I had to speak Gibberish in my acting class and I froze.
Theatre We had a short day so we were playing theatre games. One of them was this game called Translator, where one person has to pretend to be a translator for an alien guest on a talk show. I got stuck as the translator and just froze up. All of a sudden I couldn't think of anything to say. Another anecdote from Acting: I can't neigh like a horse.

012. I even have a hard time speaking baby talk to the baby.
Baby talk I don't have this problem so much anymore, but when he was first born I didn't know what to say to him. Once he started making sounds, I would repeat them back and that seemed to make him happy. Now I just give him a running play of what I'm doing and engage him in my conversation.

013. I had my bellybutton pierced twice.
Navel I got my navel done when I was a freshman. I was incredibly happy with it, and immediately wanted more. I got some other piercings, and then in October of the following year I went for the bottom of my navel. The piercer originally wasn't going to do it until he saw that I was serious about it and that I knew about the risks of migration and whatnot. I got it done and took hardcore care of it for 6 months, above and beyond normal care. Vitamins, extra sleep, leafy greens. Now I have them both and they have become integral to who I am.

014. Only to be cool.
Joe Cool This is only partly true. My first piercing I got because I had made it through the first 6 months after my dad left, and wanted to mark it in some way. The second one I got because I wanted another piercing, but not something everyone has. I wanted it to be something special.

015. I love Indian food.
Naan When my grandparents took me to eat at an Indian restaurant 6 or so years ago, I was more than skeptical. Now it is, by far, my favorite cuisine. I eat it any chance I get. I could live off the different breads alone. The downside is The Love doesn't like it, but that's okay because I don't like Taco Bell.

016. My favorite Indian restaurant is in White Plains.
Bengal Tiger My mother used to eat there when she was younger. I'm not sure why it's my favorite, but it has an awesome atmosphere and incredible food. The downside to Indian food is that it's kind of pricey. =( The funny thing is there's an Indian place much closer to my house but I never ate there because it was right by a place I ate at that had roaches. Ew.

017. However, I find it hard to get people to go with me to eat Indian food.
Alone Nobody ever wants to try something new. My brother hates Indian food, and my sister thinks it's weird. I used to have friends that I would go out with, but those ties have all slowly but surely been severed. And The Love won't touch it. I swear, The Monkey will love it!

018. I lost my virginity 2 weeks before my 15th birthday.
Bed Sheets If my then boyfriend had it his way, it would have happened two weeks earlier. I put it off because I wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea. I ended up giving in, and later telling his mom.

019. It was my little brother's birthday.
Calendar And he will never know that. He was turning 7. I spent the first half of the day out doing my thing, and then made it home in time for cake and presents with the family. I adore my little brother, yes I do.

020. I barely remember what it was like.
Memory It's more like I have a vague impression of what happened. I do, however, remember the brunch afterward. We went to some screenwriter's house for brunch and met a Colombian exchange student at our school. He kept talking about all the play he was getting. It was kind of a weird morning.
